Joe Russo won't confirm or refuse if he and his brother are returning to Marvel
Joe Russo won't substantiate or traverse if he and his sidekic Anthony are coming back to Marvel.
"It would be inappropriate for us to comment on a deal if we were in the midst of it," Joe Russo told Variety, after it was previously reported by the Wall Street Journal that Scarlett Johansson's lawsuit against Walt Disney led to an "impasse" in talks between Marvel and the Russos near directing other movie.
"I'm glad that the suit's resolved," Joe added. "I do think it was indicative of world-shaking change that's been happening. The firmness of purpose speaks volumes about the respect for artists streaming forward therein dynamical landscape."
Johansson sued Disney for an alleged breach of contract after Latrodectus mactans was released at the same time on Walt Disney Plus Premier Access code and in theaters earlier this year. The suit has since been settled, and Johansson is addicted to be teaming with Disney again to asterisk in a moving picture supported the Hul of Holy terro theme park ride.
The Russo brothers have directed four Wonder movies together: Maitre d'hotel US: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. IT's unclear what imag they'd cost helming if they did return to the studio apartment, just Cloak-and-dagger Wars certainly seems a possibility.
"[Secret Wars] would be the biggest moving-picture show you could potentially imagine, so that's what actually excites us about the story – the ambition of it is even bigger than the aspiration of the Infinity Saga," Anthony told BroBible in 2020.
The next Marvel release to arrive will glucinium Eternals, which hits the big test this November 5. Then, on Disney Plus, there's Hawkeye, which debuts its commencement two episodes this November 24.
