DESIGN AND BUILD A CITY
To build a successful city you will need to attract residents to the island by building houses and skyscrapers for them to live in. They will need jobs so you will also construct commercial and industrial buildings where they can work. Build city services, leisure and community buildings, parks and decorations to keep your new residents happy and content in their new town.

Happy sims will work harder and create more income for you to spend on improving your city and building a unique skyline. Manage transportation to keep your citizens moving both day and night. Build large seaports and huge airports to increase industry and travel.

MANAGE YOUR CITY
Suitable for all ages and all experience levels, Designer City is not just a city builder or city simulator, it is a city design and town creation game. You can build it anyway you want. Play as a regular city builder and design fabulous city skylines or use the inbuilt advanced analytics to optimise your city.

The more advanced city builder can apply town zoning principles, manage pollution levels, efficiently deploy city services and optimise city resources to increase city happiness and maximise city revenue. Keep it as simple as you like or be a tycoon and micromanage building your city and keeping your sims happy; the choice is yours.

REDESIGN AND EVOLVE YOUR CITY
Dynamic land generation ensures no two cities will ever look the same and you can manipulate the land as you progress. Want a river flowing through your city? No problem, just create one. Want to create a commercial powerhouse? No problem, zone a downtown area and build massive skyscrapers. Want to create a carbon-neutral city? No problem, use green power stations and carbon-offset with buses, trains, parks, lakes and forests.

With non-scripted game play you have the creative freedom to build your city your way. The only limitation is your imagination. Can your dream city make it to the top of the many leader boards?

Play again and again with a city reset feature and watch a new landscape dynamically generate for you. If you love city building games then this is the building game for you. Happy designing!

Love this game

I've tried loads of city builders in my attempt to find a replacement for Simcity 4. This is a pretty good one - it's fun, quite engaging, attractive and you can lose hours (days/weeks/months) to it. You can play for free although I did buy diamonds for a couple of land expansions (which got quite difficult to save for in earlier versions but I think they have fixed that now). Eventually though your city will get a bit dull so you'll probably do what I did and scrap it to build a new one from scratch (project ongoing).

My wish list would be more things to make it a bit more challenging - relief in the landscape, a proper transportation network / traffic to manage, more nuanced building impact / citizen happiness etc. But that's because really I want to play simcity 4 on my iPad! It's a pretty good game as it is. Maybe some nicer rocks, hills etc to place to make landscaping more interesting would be good though.

Absolutely beautiful!

This game has been an absolute pleasure to play and relax to; challenging enough to be entertaining, but not so much that it makes you angry & lose interest. The design work is lovely, too. There are in-app purchases available; however, it's possible to play it all for free, it doesn't drag everything out too long either, which I think is absolutely lovely & refreshing. It's basically like the original tycoon games; I'm really enjoying it & silently hoping they create more along similar lines. I actually loved the game so much that I bought some coins just as thanks to the creator; it feels weird that it's a free app AND free to play without any manipulative catches AND high quality… But yeah, it's definitely worth trying if you just wanna build & escape into your own little world for a while. 😊

I have played these type of games for many years, from PC to iPad. I can't rate Designer City enough. For a free game you simply can't go wrong. I have LOVED playing it. I'm now at the stage I own most of the land and can decorate to my hearts content! My 'wish list' would be for the game to rotate, better graphics, and more rocks and path types.... I also wish I could get rid of all the chicken farms 😉 Thank you guys - I wish you every success and a healthy bank balance from this game, you deserve it.
